On this page you'll discover my biggest inspirations to making my own prints, a pillow and a teddy bear. Without them, I wouldn't of felt motivated to make my own original masterpieces. Click on the hyper linked project titles to review each project again and witness how the influences link in with each piece.

- Mary Katrantzou - I love her use of digital prints on the clothing. They are so vibrant and captivating to look at. It motivates me to make prints like her, in my own way.
- Ghana Fashion - Since Ghana is my background/culture, I thought it would be a good idea to add their fashion as part of my inspiration for my prints. Their prints are absolutely gorgeous and attractive to look at. It's lively, expressive and full of life.

Goals & Dreams (NYCA 2016)
- Dolce & Gabanna - Their use of embellishments in their work is exciting and powerful to look at; especially the vibrant colours. It was the kind of inspiration I wanted to use for my pillow, since it's a decorative sculptural pillow.
- Michael Jackson & XSCAPE - Since the project was based on Michael Jackson, it was a good idea for the pillow to be influenced and inspired by him. This is to show how much he inspires me. I love how most of his outfits (including his glove) are filled with sequins, sparkles and jewels. The cover art of MJ's latest album, XSCAPE, gives me a sense of the galaxy. Since I was admired by the whole thing, I used that as the design for my pillowcase.

'Sweet Charity' - Felt Making (ALBERT)
- Children In Need's Pudsey - I was always inspired by Pudsey's character, influence on the younger children and how he represents himself as a child in need. I wanted to do something like that to raise awareness for Autism.
- Disney's Inside Out - The movie made me think about how people who have autism struggle with identifying their emotions and need support with that. Plus, I love how they visually expressed colours with each personified emotion. That is how the idea came up of the lollipops displaying different emotional, facial expressions. The facial expressions I have represented on the lollipops are: happy; sad; scared; disgusted and angry.
